Media Director, Carr Foundation / Gorongosa Project
In 2012, after over a decade making films at National Geographic Television, I joined the Carr Foundation to work on the 'Gorongosa Project', a partnership with the Government of Mozambique to restore Gorongosa—formerly one of Africa's greatest national parks—and support the needs of local communities.
Our media team makes films about Gorongosa to inform and inspire target audiences on broadcast, digital, and social media platforms. We also collaborate with external storytelling partners and manage Gorongosa's video & photo archive. We're always seeking new opportunities to share the Gorongosa story and help change the narrative around wildlife conservation—offering a hopeful vision and amplifying local voices.
