Assistant and senior auditor in Arthur Andersen France (chartered accounting firm) (1972/1974).

Teacher in economics and economic history in preparatory classes to business schools (1986/2006).

As volunteer, involved in environmental and mountaineering organizations: Member of the National Mountain Protection Commission of the FFCAM, involved in the organs of the Alpine Convention(Working group Transport) representing the Club Arc Alpin, observer in the Alpine Convention. President of the mountain group of the IUCN French committee (2011/2020)

Board member of the UIAA (2013/2020), in charge of the Mountain protection commission
