Was a member of the Board of the IUCN Commission on Environmental Law and the Environmental Law Academy.

Teaches Environmental Law at the Universidad Iberoamericana Law School since January 1994.

Member of the Climate Change Council, Mexico.

Columnist for the newspaper El Universal.

Member of the Board of Director of the Water Advisory Board, Mexico.
