Carine KRAUS

Carine Kraus is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris
(IEP), of the Ecole supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales
(ESSEC) and of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA).
She started her career in 2005 at the Treasury Department in the Ministry for
Economy and Finance.
She worked from 2007 to 2009 in the French Government Shareholding Agency (Agence des Participations de l'Etat)
She then joined from 2009 on the Cabinet of the Ministry of Industry, Christian
Estrosi, and then Eric Besson, as Deputy Director of cabinet.
In September 2012, Carine Kraus joined Veolia as Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO, Antoine Frérot.
In May 2015, she was appointed Deputy Managing Director France of Veolia Energy, in charge of energy services in France.
In January 2021, she was appointed VP Sustainable Development and Head of Group Public Affairs.
