Dr Barbara HAYA

Director of Berkeley Carbon Trading Project

Barbara Haya is a research fellow at both the Goldman School of Public Policy and the California Institute for Energy and Environment at the University of California Berkeley. She directs the Berkeley Carbon Trading Project, which combines research and policy outreach in the study of the effectiveness of carbon offset programs. She is also helping the University of California system develop its strategy for procuring carbon offsets for use towards the system’s carbon neutrality goal. Barbara holds a PhD from UC Berkeley’s Energy and Resources Group.
