As Senior Director for Business Engagement & Europe with the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), Andrea is responsible for relations with European partners including governments and businesses AWF works with programmatically. Andrea seeks pathways for societies to transition to inclusive green growth using biodiversity-based business as a driver for achieving a better future. Andrea has worked with businesses in the extractives, agricultural, and tourism sectors, and has pioneered business engagement strategies in AWF's landscape approach to African conservation and development. She has designed policy frameworks and tools integrating biodiversity into impact assessments, due diligence procedures for business and civil society, and biodiversity offsets. Andrea brings global level perspectives on technical issues such as integrated impact assessments, biodiversity offsets, conservation enterprises, incentive measures, and financing into AWF's work with African partners.
