Dr Alicia DONNELLAN BARRACLOUGH

Researcher, UiB and MAB Youth

Dr. Alicia Barraclough is a researcher and a grassroots activist. She works at the intersections between research and action, to progress inter- and transdisciplinary collaborations which are fair and equitable for people and land. Her work focuses on UNESCO Biosphere Reserves as testing sites for sustainability and earth stewardship, and she was named Spokesperson for the Man and Biosphere 50 Anniversary in 2021. She has worked extensively with youth, and is passionate about evidence-based action for sustainability transformation.
