Our goal is to make the most of this space to teach and inspire. We will be sharing videos and documentaries on the screen, material on an online learning platform accessible with QR Code, demonstrating participatory biodiversity inventory techniques, and creating dialogue with the audience.
Nature Conserv'Action, in collaboration with AMPA, supports conservation initiatives managed by local communities in the Peruvian Amazon, carrying out and teaching methods for biodiversity inventories. With these training courses, local communities develop capacities to collect scientific data and build their management plans, together with their allies. The inventories focus on reptiles and amphibians, a group of species that is usually overlooked despite being bio-indicators of the health of ecosystems. In Peru, AMPA supports the work of the Amazonía Que Late network of voluntary and communal conservation that gathers 6 networks in 8 Amazon and Andean regions of Peru.
