The Global Biodiversity Framework will set 10 year targets as stepping stones to achieve the 2050 vision of ‘Living in Harmony with Nature’. We present the recently pubished ‘shared ocean, shared earth’ framework (doi: 10.1126/science.abh2234) for a ‘people-positive, nature-positive’ approach to integrate implementation of the 21 proposed targets of the GBF.
