This Strategic Discussion, as part of the 2nd Sitting of the Members' Assembly, will explore how the interlinked climate and biodiversity crises present challenges to human health, livelihoods and well-being. Speakers will discuss how biodiversity and ecosystem services can support human health and help communities cope with climate change impacts. In the context of the growing recognition of biodiversity’s important contributions to human health, the session will emphasise the opportunities of integrated, nature-based recovery strategies and promote synergies and partnership between public health, climate change adaptation and nature conservation.
