Based on 7 years of building a proof of concept in landscapes worldwide, Commonland has developed the 4 Returns Framework. A practical and holistic approach to transform degraded ecosystems into vibrant landscapes and communities. To assess the monetary value of social, natural and financial returns of landscape restoration, Commonland has recently launched a method to calculate the integrated value of landscape restoration for farmers and landowners, private investors, governments and NGOs.
