Landscape governance: learning from the field

Why attend
Landscape practitioners can exchange experiences in the emerging field of landscape governance, and understand how to consider institutional and decision-making processes at the landscape level, and foster inclusive conservation. We will work together to understand if and how we are addressing major challenges in our landscapes.
HideDescription
We will facilitate a highly interactive session where participants will work in small groups to discuss if and how we are addressing major governance challenges, and if not, why not. We will encourage participants to report on evidence that demonstrates the success and failure of attempts to achieve better governance at landscape scales. We will look for lessons that emerge from case studies and attempt to identify what works and does not work and in which contexts.
