 As Founder + Director of Strategic Growth at Sustainable Harvest International, I've spent 25+ years working with a diversity of people and organizations to create a just and sustainable world through transformative farmer training that nourishes communities and the earth.  Since I founded Sustainable Harvest International in 1997, we've helped 3,000 smallholder farms in Central America to convert 27,000 acres of degraded land to agroecology systems that include four million trees. In the face of a looming climate crisis, I'm now leading the organization towards a scaling up vision to reverse degradation on 8 million acres, achieve food sovereignty for 5 million people and plant a billion trees.  I have a BS in Environmental Conservation and International Affairs, as well as three honorary doctorates.
