Dr Ying LI

Ying Li got MSc and PhD degrees in Plant Science in Wageningen University, the Netherlands. She is the member of the working group of the "4per1000" Initiative, co-research advisor of the NatureNet Science Scholarship, and committee member of Scientific Popularization and Education in Soil Science Society of China. Her current work focuses on promoting regenerative agriculture in China, convening multi-stakeholder cooperation platforms, improving soil health and biodiversity by scaling regenerative agriculture practices to build a resilient and regenerative agricultural system. Ying has research experience in both academia and private sector. She has rich scientific knowledge and application promotion experience in biotechnology, crop protection, food safety management and sustainable supply chain. She has led and participated in a number of R&D projects in the private sector. She has published more than 30 academic papers and R&D patent.
