What type of leader are you?

Why attend
In this fun interactive workshop, find out what type of leader you are and how you can take advantage of your leadership style to achieve your goals in conservation. This will be a great opportunity to meet other young conservationists and chat to CLP staff about project funding and other support we offer through our Conservation Team Awards.
HideDescription
We want to share an appreciation for a variety of leadership approaches, recognise that all styles are valid, and share an understanding of what it means to be a leader. During the workshop, you will take part in an interactive and visual exercise that will be facilitated by two CLP staff members. The exercise aims to help you identify your own leadership style and consider how this can benefit your projects. We invite you to explore four different styles and see which resonate most with you as well as the people with whom you work. Together we will explore the strengths and potential weaknesses of each leadership position. Once you have identified your leadership style, you will join others with the same (or similar) style for group discussions. You will also have the chance to talk to CLP staff members about applying for one of our Team Awards to gain project funding ($15,000) as well as professional training, mentorship and membership of a network of ~3,000conservationists worldwide
