Marseille Saint Charles train station is located in the heart of the city, 5 Km away from Parc Chanot. Train tickets can be booked 3 months in advance from most countries.

By boat

From Marseille Provence airport

By Bus + Metro

• Take the “91 LeCar” shuttle which directly connects the airport to Saint Charles train station.

• Then take the M2 Metro line (red line) from St Charles Station direction Dromel to Rond Point du Prado Station.

By regional train (TER)

  • The metro allows you to go directly to Parc Chanot via the M2 line (red line) from St Charles Station to Rond Point du Prado Station.

From Marseille

• By Metro:

  • Parc Chanot is accessible via the M2 line (red line) and the Rond-Point du Prado Station is located opposite the main entrance of Parc Chanot.
  • “PASS Marseille” or “PASS Métropole” or “bus/metro/tram ticket” accepted. See “Fares” section below.

• By bus:

  • Several bus lines serve the Rond-Point du Prado Station: bus 19, bus 21, bus 22, bus 22s, bus 44 and the night bus 521.

TER, bus, metro and tram fares

• Bus/metro/tram ticket:
• Single rate: 1,70€ (one way) valid for 1 hour.
• Available at all RTM stations ticket offices.
• One-way ticket on the basis of the usual TER fare scale:
• Fare depending on the selected train, valid for 1 way.
• Available online or at the train stations.

Region: the PACA region is a territorial authority. It is one of the 13 regions of France and encompasses the territories of Provence, the Alps and Côte d'azur. Department of Bouches-du-Rhône: the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône is a territorial authority, that is, an administrative district. It is part of the 6 Departments of the PACA Region (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, Vaucluse, Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-Maritimes). It is part of the PACA Region and covers an area of 5.087 Km2. Metropolis: the metropolis of Aix-Marseille-Provence is one of the 21 metropolises in France, created to boost the economy of its territories. It encompasses the metropolitan area around Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence, in the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône.

City of Marseille: the city of Marseille is the capital of the PACA Region and of the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône, and the basis of the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis.
