The IUCN World Conservation Congress, at its session in Marseille, France:
Adopts the following amendments to the IUCN Statutes regarding the majority required to adopt motions:
(i) NEW Article 31bis of the IUCN Statutes as follows: (existing text, if any, to be removed in
strike through; proposed new text in bold)
The adoption of motions referred to in Article 48bis of the Rules of Procedure shall require a majority of two-thirds of the votes cast in Category A and in Categories B and C combined.
