Dr Krista KEMPPINEN

Senior conservation scientist

Dr. Krista Kemppinen is a postdoctoral research associate at Arizona State University and a senior scientist at the Center for Biological Diversity. Her research focuses on the conservation of imperiled species in the marine, freshwater and terrestrial realms. She is a member of both the SSC Tuna and Billfishes Specialist Group and the SSC Corals Specialist Group. Krista holds a PhD and a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
