Juan Nicolas GALARZA

Viceminister of Environment and Land Planning, Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development

Expert in orderly and sustainable urban growth, he was an Associate Researcher at the Marron Institute of Urban Management, where he was part of economist Paul Romer’s team, Nobel Laureate in Economics in 2018, as well as other world renowned urban planners. He is an Internationalist from the Universidad del Rosario and has a master's degree in Urban Planning from the Robert F. Wagner School of New York University. He is currently Viceminister of Environment and Land Planning at the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development in Colombia.
