Dr Beth POLIDORO

Assistant Director , Center for Biodiversity Outcomes, Arizona State University

Dr. Polidoro is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director for the Center for Biodiversity Outcomes and the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Arizona State University, located in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. In addition to serving on the IUCN SSC Marine Conservation Committee, she is also Co-Chair of the IUCN SSC Marine Fishes Red List Authority, and the Red List Authority for both the SSC Tuna and Billfishes Specialist Group and the SSC Corals Specialist Group. She has more than 15 years experience producing IUCN Red List assessments for a wide variety of marine species across the globe.  At Arizona State University, she continues to develop research initiatives related to improving methods for estimating the impacts of threats on marine species and ecosystems.
