IUCN’s Species Recovery Roadmap: Launching the Green Status

Why attend
At this session you will learn how the Green Status produces Species Recovery Categories to accompany the well-known extinction risk categories, explore species case studies, and get a first-hand account of how this exciting new tool was developed over 9 years with collaborators around the world.
HideDescription
We anticipate that this session will introduce a wider audience to the Green Status and its uses; much of our communication thus far has been with scientists and IUCN SSC Specialist Groups, so we are keen to connect with other audiences. We hope that this session will encourage use of the Green Status and inspire conservation optimism.
