The circular economy - a transformative approach to tackle key drivers of biodiversity loss

Why attend
To hear about finding from the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform
HideDescription
The transition to a circular economy offers a key opportunity to introduce transformative change. Members of the recently elected coordination group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) - the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, L'Institut National de l'Economie Circulaire (INEC), the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) - have formed a working group focusing on biodiversity, to explore and strengthen the relationship between the circular economy and the biodiversity goals. Each organisation is preparing a report to address this analytical gap. This event, organised by the working group as an EU Circular Talk will present findings as gathered by the group thus far, including the potential for the circular economy to address key drivers of biodiversity loss.
