At TETRAPI, I am leading a small software development business unit, specializing in native mobile app development, web applications and APIs, system integration services and outsourcing.

In collaboration with CIBIO-InBIO at University of Azores, we have Implemented and deployed an image-based plant identification and recognition process by extending and training an InceptionV3-based machine learning model using TensorFlow, based on data stored on a GBIF-compliant species and specimens catalogue, that accepts public contributions and is then curated by experts.
